Astpai and One Win Choice on tour now!
Astpai made a long trip over to The States to do a six week nationwide tour with One Win Choice. The bands met up at The Fest to start the trip and they return at the beginning of December. One Win Choice is touring behind their latest 7" on Jump Start, "Define/Redefine." Astpai are touring behind "Corruption Concealed" and creating a buzz for their new 7", "The Scavenger", due out shortly on Jump Start. Giving Chase wraps up new EP and shows for 2009!
Giving Chase finished out their live plans for the year with a set at the Fest 8. They have a brand new split 7" with A New Day (UK) out now on Seven Inch Records. This release will be up in our online store very shortly. The release is limited to three hundred copies and we have a hundred of them. For all of you European fans, you can catch a good deal on Giving Chase merchandise at www.trashmark.com! Get a free copy of "A Cheap Print of a Masterpiece" when you buy a shirt or hoodie. They also just wrapped up recording of their new EP with engineer Will Yip over at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA. The band is also streaming two brand new songs from that split 7" with A New Day on their MySpace page right now!
Lighten Up LP finally seeing proper distribution.
Lighten Up's "Absolutely Not" will finally see an official release on January 26th, 2010. The album has been available on our online store for a few months now but, this January it will be available digitally and in record stores. Sorry for the delay with this, but things just got completely fucked with the demise of our former distributor, Lumberjack Mordam. Things are still a complete mess, but we're sorting through the wreckage and hope to be back on top of distribution very shortly.
Fresh for 2010, a new Jump Start band...
We would like to officially welcome, Safety, to the Jump Start Records roster. We had the pleasure of watching them open up The Fest 8 at Rum Runners and it was great to see people really into their set.
