Spoiler NYC
begins recording new album. Spoiler NYC, the NY-based punk trio featuring Life of Agony's Alan Robert on lead vocals and bass, head into the studio this week to begin recording the follow-up to their debut album "Grease Fire in Hell's Kitchen" (SOS Records/I Scream Records). Seven-time Grammy-Award winning producer, Ken Lewis, will handle recording and mixing duties on the new record titled "Banned in 38 States."

"We've got this new track called "Damaged Goods" that I'm really proud of. It's about child abuse and trying to cope with that trauma as you get older. The more people I talk to, the more these horrible stories come up. It's really upsetting to know just how common it is and how many people out there have been abused as kids and how it continues to affect them as adults. It's something a lot of people don't ever bounce back from. I read somewhere that about one third of abused children will later abuse their own children, continuing the cycle. Maybe this song, in a very, very small way, can help spread that awareness." said Spoiler NYC's Alan Robert.
