We're beyond stoked at this news. Ever since their break up, The Get Up Kids have been long missed by anyone and everyone. However, since August 2008 they've re-emerged and it's been getting a lot of people excited. Including us. Hell, especially us. Well, the US have had their fun and now it's our turn....*drumroll*....The Get Up Kids will be back in August for a full European tour!

On September 7th, a 10th Anniversary Edition of their classic album 'Something To Write Home About' will be released. The album comes in new packaging and will feature a DVD, including a full live set recorded at one of the band's first comeback shows in Kansas last year, and a documentary on the history of the band containing a ton of never-seen-before footage.
