Summer is ahead and I am happy to report that there will be two 7"s out on TAKEN BY SURPRISE just in time for all your summer dance parties!
SUSPECT PARTS will have a 7" entitled MAN EATER on TAKEN BY SURPRISE soon! Fronted by JUSTIN MAURER of the CLOROX GIRLS and featuring CHRIS BRIEF of ehm THE BRIEFS on drums, SMAIL from THE SHOCKS on bass and SULLI from RIPCHORD on guitar, they deliver great poppy punkgems with a hint of 60s beat. I can't be happier to have them on the label! At the same time I will have a 7" by the MARVELOUS DARLINGS from Toronto, Canada out. Their 7"s on DERANGED and WALLRIDE have been in my Top 10 for a long time so I am really really happy to put this one out! Perfect pop music for the masses! The band's mastermind is Ben Cook, also previously or currently active in NO WARNING, FUCKED UP, VIOLENT MINDS, CRIMINALLY INSANE and also with his great solo project YOUNG GOVERNOR! The band will also release two more 7"s soon on BACHELOR and P.TRASH and has a 7" and a full length LP coming up on the great FULL BREACH KICKS label in the fall!
