CHASER : NEW ALBUM IN 09
Chaser donnent des nouvelles sur le successeur à Numb America. Les enregistrement commenceront le 09 janvier 2009 :
"So you have all been waiting patiently for the new album, and we know it's been a pretty long time since we released "Numb America," so we appreciate you all hanging in there. But we can assure you that this album will be worth the wait.
January 9th, 2009, we will be heading up to Los Angeles, CA to start recording.
For the first time in Chaser history, we have put together a type of concept album. It doesn't necessarily play out like a movie, so to speak, but the entire album has a theme and a message. I won't go into details (not to mention we don't want to ruin the surprise) but the songs reflect our experiences as human beings discovering not only who we are, but what is truly important, the things that make life beautiful. We know that at times everyone gets hurt and betrayed and finds themselves in times of desperation, but this album is about the permanent things in life that far outweigh the temporary trials.
As most of you know, we as a band, take great pride getting to know the people that come to our shows and the people that listen to our music, so we felt it was proper for us to release a more personal album this time around. This will give the listener more of a chance to see who we are as people. This is a way to invite those of you that we haven't met personally into our lives and a way for them to get to know us through our music.
I won't spoil the actual content, but let's say in the last few years as a band, we've traveled and seen so many cool places and met so many cool people (both on stage and in the crowd) and we are truly grateful to be one of the bands that gets to do this. We know how blessed we are to have our friends and fans across the world, and it is always a great experience meeting someone new that appreciates what we do.
So, to wrap this up: This album has a lot to do with searching for reason and finding it in bars and clubs and smelly, dirty vans across the country and when we come home getting to spend time with our families that are supporting us and encouraging us to pursue our passion. So thank you for listening to our music and being part of the Chaser family. We know you will love this album, and we know that each and every person that hears this album will relate to the meaning behind the music. The release date is to be announced, but you can probably expect it by early summer 09. After sifting through the close-to-40 songs we've written since "Numb America," here are our 12 favorites, the track listing for our upcoming album. We have a title but we're not telling you yet.
