Used Kids : We’re Making Records

Publié le par Music'N'Punk

Le groupe de Brooklyn Used Kids a travaillé avant de prendre une pause pour les fêtes :

But right before we took our Christmas break, we knocked out three quick songs in our buddy Lou's studio in Williamsburg.  They sound great - and they're gonna be used for the following releases:

1. Two songs, "Silver and Gold" and "I Crashed Your Party" (which may be familiar to some of you in the same way that "Rock Rock Rock (yeah) 2" from our Salinas 7" may have rang a bell), will be our side of a split 7" with Tenement (www.myspace.com/tenementwi), out in late February on 608 Kisses Records.

2. A song called "Working" will be our contribution to a four-band 7" comp on A.D.D. Records.  The other three bands?  The Tim Version, Pretty Boy Thorson and the Falling Angels, and Dan Padilla.  So, you know it's gonna be some heavyweight shit.

Now, don't forget - we're still recording our full-length.  We're taking care to make sure that it sounds perfect, and so far, the dudes at Freedom School Studios are locking that down.  Mike and Craig, the Used Kids salute you - thus far.  I think that the actual record will be done by the end of January, and out in the late spring, on a label to be announced soon.
