MINDSET, 'R E A L P O W E R' PRE-ORDERS

We have approved the test presses and completed art so I’m happy to announce that pre-orders for the new Mindset EP, “R E A L P O W E R” will be starting on Monday November 24th. Like all REACT! releases this will be a one-time-only pressing and this time we’ll be doing 1000 copies (200 on red, 300 on white, and 500 on black) and once they’re gone, they’re gone so stay on point! Each record will come with a free digital download and new Mindset and REACT! merch designs will also be available for order.

Lyrically this unbelievable four song EP focuses on topics of self-motivation, compassion, and social change, and encourages self-empowerment as a means to create change. Musically Mindset draw from classic bands like Youth of Today, Gorilla Biscuits, and Warzone while still managing to have a personality and style all of their own. The cover art, which was designed by Evan Mindset in collaboration with the McMahon family (Tracy, Tim, Trevor, and Taryn), as well as two new songs BE THE SPARK and WORDS have been posted on the REACT! page so please check them out and be ready for Monday November 24th!!!

RIGHT IDEA, “OUR WORLD” SOLD OUT

I’m happy to say that the Right Idea record is now sold out. I still have about 10 copies left so these will be up for grabs on the REACT! myspace until Friday November 21st but after that the only place you’ll be able to get, “Our World” is through distros or from the band. BREAKTHROUGH EP UPDATE

Next up on REACT! is the long awaited BREAKTHROUGH EP!!!! This is a vinyl version of the legendary, and now out of print, Breakthrough demo. All of the tracks have been re-mixed and re-mastered by our good friend Ian Love (Rival Schools) and the EP includes an extra song OUR PERSPECTIVE which was recorded during the additional demo session but didn’t have vocals until 2007. we’re expecting to start taking pre-orders in early 2009 and you can check out the new song OUR PERSPECTIVE on our myspace as well as the complete BxT demo on their myspace page:

NEW REACT! WEBSITE UP SOON

Our good friend Tim McAuliffe has been putting together our new site which will hopefully be up and running by the time we start taking the Mindset pre-orders. The site will include a blog, lots of awesome live shots, band sections, and label information including a complete REACT! discography. The site will also include a brand new webstore which will not only feature REACT! release and merch, but also some releases from some of the bands and labels of our good friends.
